WYCJ participates in Informal Consultation on the AO in Geneva

On the 8th of December “Friends of the ICJAO” (Earth Trusteeship Working Group, Basel Peace Office, Normandy Chair for Peace, Right Livelihood College Bangkok, and the World Future Council, in collaboration with Sidney Austin LLP) hosted an informal consultation in Geneva.

The focal point of the consultation concerned the negotiations of the draft Resolution that will start today at the UNGA. The upcoming month will be of extreme importance to reach the highest possible number of States that will join the core group before the final vote.

Our campaigners Jule Schnakenberg and Elisa Granzotto represented the voice of youth in this campaign, also officially launching the WYCJ’s Second Edition Legal Report, and giving some insights on how young people will be included in the second phase before the ICJ.
